Flexi Camp

All guide and scout groups and other groups of participants will live in five neighbourhoods at Jamboree Denmark 2012. The sixth neighbourhood is a flexi camp. It is open not just to jamboree staff, but also to Danish parents and young brothers and sisters as well as other adults.

The flexi camp will be the largest campsite in Denmark this summer.
 
In the flexi camp there isroom for jobbers in the camp as well as parents and siblings, old scouts and tourists who want to experience a scout or guide camp. In addition, the flexi camp is the place where you can bring your caravan or book a room at the "camp hotel," and where you can buy many kinds of service.
It is recommended to sign up in advance for the camp, especially if you want to live in the same area as your friends. But if there is more space available, you can also move into the flexi camp without prior registration.

Accommodation facilities
You can bring your own tent, caravan or motorhome in the flexi camp, with or without ordering a power connection. Each campsite measures 8 x 10 meters, no matter if you book a place for a caravan or a tent.
You can also book a place to sleep in the camp dormitory or you can book a room in a hotel cart. They typically have 2 rooms with bunk beds and a shared shower and toilet in each carriage.

Services and activities
The flexi camp offers an electrical connection. There will be water-flushing toilets and bathing facilities in several places in the camping area. In the flexi camp town square there will be a laundromat, a culture cafe, a mini market, a playground and a beach volleyball court well as a family tent with games and fun.
Residents in the flexi camp can participate in all the free activities in the camp.

Cooking
You can do your own cooking and buy your grocery in the supermarket in the camp.
There are outdoor kitchens  in several places in the flexi camp, but you must bring your own pots and pans. There are also some fireplaces around the flexi camp. 
If you do not want to cook yourself, you can buy your meals in the camp cafes and restaurants. You can also buy meal tickets for staff canteen.

Payment
After registering you will receive more information about the payment. Participants who have not signed up in advance have to pay upon arrival.

Time and prices
The flexi camp is flexible also in terms of how long you want to stay. You pay per night and you may stay from one night upwards.

The prices in the flexi camp cover the campsite and is a combination of pay-per-person and per tent:

- 100 DKK per night for persons over 10 years
- 45 DKK per night for children between 6 and 10 years
- No payment for children under 6 years

Add to this:
- 25 DKK per night if you bring a tent
- 25 DKK per night if you bring a caravan
- Electricity costs 40 DKK per night

There are special rates for accommodation at the camp dorm or in the caravan. The dormitory costs 150 DKK per. night while it costs 450 DKK for a single room in the caravan. A double room costs 400 DKK per person per night.

Special price for jobbers
If you are a full-time jobber throughout the camp, there is a special price of 1300 DKK. This includes the camp fee and food. Apart from that you must pay 25 DKK per night for a caravan and 40 DKK per night for an electrical connection.
