Cooking and food distribution
|
You can use your own recipes while cooking at the camp. But you can also use the recipes from the camp recipe book. |

At the jamboree, all groups will collect food supplies nearby in their own neighbourhood. Each neighbourhood will have a food distribution centre in the form of a self-service facility. Here the individual group can collect whatever food needed. Only meat will be rationed; otherwise it’s entirely up to the group ‘to shop sensibly’. No payment is charged for this food, as it is part of the jamboree fee. Food for free collection will be ordinary camp food supplies – including coffee for guide/scout leaders.
At the main square of the jamboree there will be a large supermarket in which you can shop using cash. The supermarket is both for guests who need to do some shopping and for participants who want to supplement the general food supply with, e.g., a cake for a birthday celebration. The supermarket will offer a wide range of goods.
All neighbourhoods will have small mini marts in which you can also shop using cash. These mini marts will have a limited range of goods.
