Policies

A number of policies will be developed to serve as a set of reference guidelines for Jamboree Denmark 2012. The first policies have already been adopted and will contribute to creating the framework for life at the jamboree.

Spiritual meditation policy

The jamboree’s spiritual meditation policy provides room for differences, the keyword being flexibility.Spiritual meditation is going to be part of the jamboree programme as an activity that you can choose to join. Every morning it will be possible to participate in morning prayers, guides’/scouts’ own ceremonies or other spiritual activities. The jamboree vicars/priests will be easily recognizable. They will have a fixed base where you can drop by if you feel like talking about faith – or lack of faith. There will also be big services open for everyone who wants to participate.

Sponsorship policy

The goal is to find substantial sponsors for Jamboree Denmark 2012. This work will be done on the basis of the sponsorship policy developed by the Jamboree Executive Committee and approved by the Supervisory Board.

Smoking policy

The Executive Committee has approved a smoking policy for Jamboree Denmark 2012.

Alcohol policy

The Executive Committee has approved an alcohol policy for Jamboree Denmark 2012.
