About the camp

The organisations in charge of Jamboree Denmark 2012 are the five internationally recognised Danish scout and guide organisations. For the first time all scout and guide organisations plan a camp together and as many as 35,000 participants are expected from Denmark and abroad.

Jamboree Denmark takes place from July 21 to July 29, 2012 just outside the city of Holstebro in the northwestern part of Denmark.

The camp is being organised by:

• the Danish Guide and Scout Association of the Danish Minority in South Slesvig, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany,
• the Danish Baptist Guide and Scout Association
• the Green Girl Guides of Denmark
• the Danish Guide and Scout Association
• the YMCA Scouts in Denmark 

All the organisations are members at either WAGGGS or WOSM.
